Gender / Race inclusivity
The player has the option of playing between 15 (as of writing) Legends, 7 of which are male, 7 of which are female and one of which is gender neutral (the only evidence of this provided is that they (Bloodhound) are referred to officially with gender neutral pronouns). 7 of the Legends are POC, 5 of them are white, 1 of them (Bloodhound again) is indeterminate due to full body armour (but may be white, due to German accent) and 2 of them are robots
Mental / Physical inclusivity
No bios are available to determine any mental attributes. That being said, the game features Legends with evident body scarring, fatigue, obesity and even cybernetic legs. It should be noted that the character with obesity may be depicted as such because he is Samoan, but this is too common a problem to confirm if this the case.
Cultural inclusivity
(Mostly Gibraltar)
Within his stock finisher, Gibraltar uses a weapon of Pacific origin to execute his target (please forgive me for my ignorance in not knowing the name of this weapon) / In his Warcry finisher, Gibraltar performs a haka while smashing his enemy with his shield in the process, he even does the haka during his idle animation on the lobby screen on occasion
Physical / Mental accessibility
Features configurable controls for both keyboard and controller / subtitles can be enabled and set to normal, large or huge size / features colour blind filters for Protanopia, Deuteranopia and Tritanopia / incoming text chat can be set to Text-To-Speech or incoming voice chat into Speech-To-Text / an Anonymous Mode is available for those who aren’t comfortable in public groups or lobbies / does not feature compatibility with eye tracker
Additional notes
- One of Lifeline’s finishers has her administering a euthanasia injection into her target
- Gibraltar uses his obesity to his advantage and body slams his target during one of his finishers
- Features cinematic gunfire and explosion sound effects
